Bio and Pictures

My name is Emily Buckley and I graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2019 with a B.A. degree in Music and a minor in Interfaith Leadership Studies.

I am a hardworking and dedicated violinist, violist, and teacher with 22 years of experience playing Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and 20th-century music.

A few musical accomplishments I have attained are being the concertmistress of the Etown College-Community Orchestra for 3 years, winning the 2017 Concerto Competition and performing a solo concerto with the orchestra, a music improvement scholarship sophomore year of college, and have participated in many semesters of string ensembles on campus, as well as a piano trio. I have also been one of the music camp counselors for the Etown Summer Music Camp for several years.

For the last two years of my bachelor’s degree, I taught private lessons on the Etown College campus to many students on violin and viola. Since graduating in May 2019, I have started my private violin studio and have been teaching students out of my home, ranging from absolute beginner to having years of experience on the violin and viola.

I thoroughly enjoy being a teacher and being able to share my musical knowledge with my students, as this is my biggest passion!
