As we embark on the 2020 holiday season, there are a few reminders and thoughts I’d like to share:
- Please continue to be mindful about COVID-19 – there have been a multitude of cases regarding close friends, family, and of people in the community. This includes (but is not limited to) wearing masks properly, maintaining social distancing guidelines, and practicing good hand hygiene by either soap and water or hand sanitizer when soap and water is not available.
- If you, or someone in your household, has been exposed to COVID-19 in any way, please inform me at the earliest time possible and we will make accommodations as necessary. I do my best to be upfront and clear with everyone and hope, and expect, reciprocation on this.
- Remember that while school may be on break for the holidays, your practicing should still continue! This may actually allow for more practice time! Try to get in at least three practices a week.
- If there is a holiday tune you’d like to learn, feel free to bring it to a lesson (if you have sheet music) or let me know and I’ll try to find it!
I hope everyone stays safe and healthy this holiday season!
