Happy fall, everyone!
As school resumes and the seasons begin to change, I thought it would be the perfect time to announce that I am resuming in-person lessons again! There are some changes to in-person lessons, though, due to COVID-19:
1. All students and accompanying parents/caretakers that are present during lessons in the studio are required to wear masks, myself included. Wearing a mask while playing violin could feel different compared to playing without a mask, but I guarantee that I will work with students and parents to find the best (and most comfortable) way of practicing. Please wear masks properly: over the nose and under the chin, as featured at the end of this post!
2. I will be taking other safety precautions into account as well such as using an air purifier and social distancing as allowed, as well as frequent hand washing and use of hand sanitizer. This is a time of practicing new habits and working through the unknown, so please reach out if there are any questions or concerns on this topic.
3. I am also continuing to teach lessons online via Zoom or FaceTime. I can also teach lessons in a hybrid fashion, utilizing or alternating between online and in-person formats!
4. The fall is an excellent time to supplement your child’s education with private lessons! I am accepting new students (for in-person or online lessons), but don’t wait too long as schedules fill up quickly.
