Hello, everyone!
As we are in the middle of summer I thought it would be a good time to post some updates to my studio:
- I have been offering online Zoom and Facetime lessons since March due to COVID-19. The current prices on my website under the Teaching Policy page reflect in-person and online lesson prices.
- At this time I do not have a set date of when I will be resuming in-person lessons.
- Even though in-person lessons are not being offered at this time, I am still accepting new students! If you would like to start your child (or someone else you know would like lessons) on the violin or viola, please let me know and I can set up a time to begin once in-person lessons resume! If they have experience with violin or viola we can start over Zoom or Facetime.
Since graduating last May I have learned so much more about teaching, running and operating my own private studio, and working with families in their goals (music-related or not). Not only have I grown in these professional aspects, but I’ve also taken several courses at my community college to enhance my knowledge in other fields as well, as learning is a passion and continuous goal of mine.
Opening this studio has helped me fulfill one of my lifelong dreams and I’m always striving to do research, talk to experts, and explore how to make my students’ experiences the best they can be. I’ve found countless creative ways to help students practice and stay motivated, as well as engage them.
